Bu makalede, İmâmiyye Şîası’nın önemli âlimlerinden biri olan, kelâmına aklı dâhil eden ve Usûlî geleneği başlatan Şeyh Müfîd’in Îmânu Ebî Tâlib adlı eseri bağlamında –mezhepler arası bir tartışma konusu olan- Ebû Tâlib’in dinî konumu ele alınmıştır. İlk olarak söz risalenin müellifi olan hayatı, ilmî şahsiyeti eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.
